WELCOME
Sacred Heart High School was founded in 1923 by the Capuchin Franciscan Order. The Green & Gold Fund is an independent charitable foundation that supports Sacred Heart in its mission of providing quality, coed, Catholic education throughout Westchester and the Bronx.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Green & Gold Fund exists for the sole purpose of supporting Sacred Heart High School students by providing funds for curriculum enrichment, special projects, innovative programs, educational equipment, organizational development, and other needs.
TAX EXEMPT STATUS
The Green & Gold Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, incorporated in the State of New York. Donations and contributions made to the Green & Gold Fund (EIN #83-3508468) are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
GOVERNANCE
The Green & Gold Fund board is comprised of Sacred Heart alumni, who operate independently of the Archdiocese of New York. Grants are provided to Sacred Heart High School subject to the submission of grant applications by the school and review and approval by the board.
FUNDING
Funding may be provided by donations from Sacred Heart High School alumni and friends, foundations, and other supporters. The Fund accepts donations in the form of cash, check, securities, IRAs, bequests, or any other customary manner of making donations. Funds are managed by professional external money managers.
